Our First Baby Shower

Our incredible fam threw us a baby shower to celebrate our growing family on Saturday, March 11th. ❤ We had around 40 guests attend, so there was a lot of activity and just so much joy. From CFA chicken & yummy fruit trays to thoughtful guest party favors & amazing table stations … it was an incredible day that was well planned. The party started at 1pm and the last guests left around 9:40pm. K and I talked about the party for the rest of the month. Thank you so much, Michaela!! We love you bunches and appreciate all of the details you thought out to make our shower so special.

Stations:

Guest Book Sign-In with chocolate bars & ultrasound pic – Will You be my Sunshine Written by Julia Lobo (new fave book)
Favorite Family Tradition from your childhood & baby predictions (we have read through these at least 3x already … so, so fun and what a keepsake!)
Late night diapers — messages from family and friends on size 1 diapers! We have these in a bag in our closet to pull out as soon as he outgrows his like 15 newborn diapers we own. We are trying not to look at the messages now, but the few I’ve peaked at made me LOL.
Elias’ First ABC Book Station // Each guest illustrated a different page. We are going to laminate this, so we can always read it to him.
Food & Drink Station

Games/Activities:

Shoe Game // Example Questions: Who is going to be the more fun parent? Who is going to change more diapers?
Diaper changing game (blindfolded) – K ripped the diaper and this home video will be cherished always. I laughed so hard, I cried.
The Price is Right Baby Product Edition – winners were given prizes from gift cards to products
Gift Opening – so many thoughtful, precious gifts. Cherish.
Board games after some guests left. We also played Throw Throw Burrito to spice things up.
